Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport

Course description:
A 3 hour face-to-face training course lead by one of sportscotland’s approved tutors.
Learners will:
- Be introduced to the Spectrum of Practice and use it to consider, evaluate and respond to common coaching scenarios
- Receive an introduction to the factors that create a culture of poor practice
- Identify barriers to disclosure
- Cover the process for responding to concerns
- Put the responding to concerns process into practice to deal with complex cases
Sport Specific First Aid

Course description:
The Sports First Aid training course will give you all the necessary first aid skills to deal with a wide range of sporting incidents.
This course is for anyone involved in sporting activities – this could be referees, coaches or players.
Badminton Basics Coaching Award

Course description:
Badminton Basics is a six-hour course geared towards coaches with little or no badminton experience. It focuses on fun games for beginners, allowing participants to lead sessions at schools and assist more experienced coaches at clubs. Candidates receive a certificate of attendance and a pack.
