Community Sport Hubs /
Girvan
Girvan Community Sport Hub brings together local sports clubs and other community partners to develop and grow the sporting offering in the community of Girvan.
Our principles:
Growth in participation
Understanding community need
Supporting community leadership
Ensuring all the right people are working together
Offering a range of sports
Girvan CSH has a very focused and targeted approach to ensuring there is sporting provision across the area. Bringing key community partners and clubs together aswell as receiving funding for various projects has been key in helping to achieve this. Four members of staff are employed through the CSH along with a number of casual sports coaches.

Leisure Facility
About:
Our Centre is a bright, modern community leisure facility providing leisure and play activities to support healthy lifestyles and providing a place where people of all ages and abilities can come together and meet like-minded individuals, make new friends or just enjoy a warm, inviting environment.
Our facility exists due to the hard work of South Carrick Community Leisure(SCCL), the social enterprise who manage and operate “The Quay Zoneâ€, who with the support of the South Carrick Community and South Ayrshire Council, worked together to provide this new leisure centre in Girvan for the residents of South Carrick and to provide a fantastic addition to what Is on offer for visitors and tourist to the area.
SCCL are a charity organisation (charity no. SC043090) set up in the South Carrick Community with the main purpose of raising the funds to support the creation of this £6 million pound facility.
We plan to continue to develop and grow our service offering in line with our customer’s needs and with your support and involvement we hope to provide a leisure and community facility that we can all be proud of for many years to come.
