Our aim is to provide a fun, safe enjoyable environment that encourages participants to reach their full potential no matter what their aspirations may be. We provide a friendly welcoming environment where our members take pride in the Club and make long lasting friendships while enjoying a sports suitable for all ages. Being a progressive Club we have 10 coaches and offer weekly coaching sessions for adults, children and visually impaired.  We can provide aids to assist those with disabilities. Being an outdoor Club our season runs from April till September. We work closely with Active Schools providing coaching for schools within our area and enjoy seeing the children compete at The National Centre for Bowling at the end of their school term. For anyone wishing to try bowls we can provide shoes and bowls and your first lesson is free.

Our multi sports centre has Tennis (LTA Accredited), Badminton and Table Tennis for all levels and all the Exercise Classes and Fitness Equipment you could want on your doorstep. As a not for profit organisation we are dedicated to offering our members the finest facilities at an affordable price. The club offers memberships for Fitness, Tennis and Tennis & Fitness combined.

Prestwick Cricket Club, is a grass-roots sports club in the heart of the Prestwick Community providing cricket facilities for all to use, at St Ninian’s Park since 1955. We hold various and regular training days during the playing season, feel free to come along and try for yourself. We also compete in a number of competitions at various age groups, if you are after something more competitive. In addition we are a family oriented club and have many social days throughout the year for the whole family, as well as a number of live music social events.

Glenburn Miners Welfare Football Club (GMWFC) are a voluntary organisation committed to providing access to organised football for all age groups from toddlers through to adults regardless of age or ability. We cater for both boys and girls form mini kickers through to over 35’s. Our focus is on promoting fun and fitness through football. Glenburn Miners Welfare Football Club was formed in 1976 following the opening of the Glenburn Miners Welfare and Social Club in 1975. The Social Club was opened following the closure of the Glenburn pit in 1973 and today many of the committee, parents and players associated with GMWFC grew up and still live within the Glenburn community of Prestwick.

It is a 2k event for juniors only (4-14 year olds). If you are not a junior please try one of our weekly Saturday parkrun events instead. It is held every Sunday at 9:30am. The event takes place at Prestwick Oval, St Ninian’s Park, Prestwick, KA9 1SP. The aim is to have fun. Please come along and join in whatever your pace! Every week we grab a post parkrun coffee in Fresh & Tasty, Prestwick Tennis Centre – please come and join us!

Whether you would like to start bowling and have never done it before, we are a friendly, welcoming club. You can come and play bowls or do a coaching session for 6 weeks to allow you to see if it is for you. Â These are on late September, Mondays 9-10.30am, Tuesdays 6.30-8.00pm.
